Show Big Program For Leadership Week In addition to the half hundred faculty members of Brigham Young university who wil address Leadership Leader-ship Week guests January 23 to 27, there will be about fifty speakers . from outside the school according to advices from Provo. These speakers are all leaders in their respective lines of work in the state, and will bring a wealth of information to those who assemble to hear them. Daily at 1:30 the class groups will assemble in College hall to hear the special music programs which have been prepared, and to listen to general gen-eral authorities of the state who have been engaged to give addresses. The central theme of the week is "Man's Quest for Joy", and various aspects of this subject wil be treated in the general assembly talks. On Monday, Melvin J. Gallard will spea'rf on the subject, "Joy Through Self-Mastery"; Tuesday, David 0. McKay on "Joy-Through "Joy-Through Self-Realization", and Dr. Richard R. Lyman on "Joy Through Intellectual Growth"; Wednesday has been reserved for President Heber J.' Grant, who will attend if possible; Thursday, Dr. Adam S. Bennion and Pres. B. H. Roberts, "The Legacy of the Pioneers"; Friday, President A. ! W. Ivins, "The Husbandman of the Future"; and Elder George Albert I Smith, "Joy Through Service to Others." There will be a get-acquainted dance on Monday evening, a musical concert con-cert on Tuesday evening, a drama, j "The Patsy" oh Wednesday evening, and a musical concert Thursday evening. even-ing. The great concert band and orchestra or-chestra of the university wil also ge heard during the week. ' A full program of recreation has been worked out in cooperation with , the General M. I.
