SCARLET FEVER SHOWS Two cases of scarlet fever have de-velonod de-velonod in the valley, one be'ng lo- cated at Gunnison and one at Cen- terfield. The home of Elton Soren-son Soren-son of tbis citv is under Quarantine, as one case has shown there. The child, it is said, is quite ill as a result re-sult of the disease. It is not known how th" disase made i"s nnnoarance here, and it is susnected that it was "smuggled" into the vallev bv careless care-less parents. Parents are advised bv Dr. Hfnti. citv health officer, to renort immediatrdv anv symptoms of the malady, and to take every pre-ca"tion pre-ca"tion from further spreading the disease. The situation so far has not reached an alarming stage, and if proper precautions are taken, the disease can be readily stamped out.
