Show Springville Man Weds Gunnison .Girl The marriage of' Miss Velma Sanderson, San-derson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. V. Sanderson of this city, to Cornell Blackitt, of Springville, proved a pretty pret-ty wedding and was one of the social features of last week. The ceremony was performed by Bishop Leslie K.d-man K.d-man and was witnessed by seventy relatives and intimate friends. Following Fol-lowing the marriage of the tw"o well known young people at nine o'clock, an elaborate wedding supper was served, and the outside guests were Mr. and Mrs. Blackitt, parents of the groom, and three daughters , of Mr. and Mrs. Blackitt, and friends from Salina. The Sanderson home was artistically decorated with roses and garden flowers and the setting was decidedly charming. Mrs. Blackitt, the bride, is. well and . popularly known in Gunnison, having been born here. She attended attend-ed the grade schools, later entering the high school, where she was an active student. Mr. .. Blackitt, a native na-tive of Springville, is a . promising young business man, has a wide circle cir-cle of friends throughout northern Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Blackitt have the best wishes of their hosts of friends and relatives for a happy and prosperous married life. They will leave shortly for Montana where they will reside permanently. |
