Show Axtell Youth Victim Of Dread Diptheria Darrill Christensen, the 14-year-old son of Mrs. Jensena Christensen of Axtell, succumbed Friday evening as a result of an attack of diptheria.; Darrill was stricken with scarlet fever and later diptheria developed. The malady failed to respond to the best medical aid and the young man sank rapidly. Due to the fact that Axtell citizens are endeavoring to stamp out the disease, dis-ease, only brief funeral services were hold and only members of the family, and one or two others were present.
