Show MAYFIELD WINS TWO. Mayf ield M Men's basket ball quint ; is stepping into the limelight and if the good record thus far established is maintained, the neighbor cagers will qualify for the state tournament. Mayfield's fast team played in two snappy games Tuesday night, and won both events. In the contest with the Gunnison M Men, Mayfield won, defeating de-feating Gunnison by a score of 27 to k 20. To show their prowess, the May-field May-field lads took the Centerfield M Men on for the second game, winning by a score of 26 to 4. Since the opening of the M Men's schedule, Mayfield has not lost a s.'ngle game. Tonight the leaders go to Richfield to play in the ''found robin." Twelve stakes, including in-cluding Gunnison and south, will compete com-pete in the round robin tournament. If Mayfield captures honors tonight, it means a trip to Salt Lake and a place in the state tournament contest. |
