Show Scandinavians Will Hold Big Reunion Elaborate plans have been completed complet-ed by the Scandinavians of Southern Utah for the annual Scandinavian conference con-ference and reunion to be held at Manti Saturday and Sunday, August 13th and 14th. The conference has been and is now being advertised extensively ex-tensively and it is expected that the trowels attending will far surpass those of previous years. A big delegation delega-tion of Scandinanvians will attend in a body from this point. Transportation jvill be provided for those without car-i or other means of reaching the conference confer-ence city. , The meetings will be held at the stake tabernacle at Manti, and in the two-day session three important meet- ings and a free concert will be afforded. afford-ed. The opening meeting is set for Saturday at 2 o'clock p. m. At 8:15 the same evening, all visitors will join in one big concert, which will consist of talks, musical numbers and readings. Everyone attending the conference is urged to take part in this particular number, as it is intended intend-ed to be a get-acquainted affair. Two sessions are scheduled for Sunday, August 14.; The first is set for 10 o'clock in the morning, and the second at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Officials from the church organization organiza-tion at Salt Lake will be present and will give the main talks. Members of the organizaiton, as well as friends, are cordially invited to attend the 1932 conference and reunion of the Scandinavian organization. |
