Show NO LAWS ' BROKEN Bootleggers and moonshiners may break the laws, but it was up to two well known sportsmen of this city to observe most strictly the laws governing govern-ing the killing of sage hens on the opening day, Tuesday of this week. C. M. Edwards and Ira Overfelt, who would rather walk and hunt, rather than kill, spent an entire day in the fields adjacent to Fairview Tuesday and the limit was two each. And now they are wondering whether they will serve the birds to the hosts of Lions which .will gather at Palisade park Friday, or give them to the editor of the News. But the hunting was poor and the birds scarce, hence the tale of distress. |
