Show Interest Manifest In U. T. A. Convention State wide interest, is manifest in the corning convention of the Utah Taxpayers Association. The General Committee made up of eleven representatives repres-entatives of all taxing interests in the state have called the county commit-teemeen commit-teemeen from all the counties of Utah to meet with them for a discussion of the problems peculiar to this state. According to Chairman Henry H. Rolapp who is head of this state organization, or-ganization, every county in the state has a thorough-going tax organization. organiza-tion. Every taxing interest in the county is represented. Every town in the county lias its spokesman on the committee so that a through cross- section of taxpayers is had in each county group. After months of contact with public officials, these county tnx oreaniz.-i-tions are in a position (o report their findings at the coming convention. Pome have achieved exceptional results re-sults in pointing out to public officials-how officials-how levies could he lowered, how proposed pro-posed bond issues were unnecessary and how a number of proposed expenditures expen-ditures could be deferred.
