Show AXTELL ' NEWS ITEMS Little Shirley and Dilos Durfee were visitors at the home of their aunt, Mrs. James Jacobsen, this week. Mr. and Mrs. James Jacobsen and Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Crowther attended attend-ed the funeral of Mr. Erastus Durfee of Aurora, Wednesday. Peter Lund and O. C. Doke of Eph-raim, Eph-raim, were business visitors at Axtell Monday. Mrs. Chas. Thorps returned home Sunday after visiting 'in Salt Lake for a couple of weeks. MisS Maud Douglas is home after spending a few days visiting in Gunnison. Gun-nison. Mrs. George Douglas and children are visitors at the Wm. Douglas home this week. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Anderson of Idaho were renewing old acquaintances acquaintanc-es in Axtell Tuesday. Miss Laura Morley is spending Thanksgiving week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Morley. Miss Nellie Jenson entertained at dinner Sunday in honor of Miss Laura Morley of Mt. Pleasant. Little Winona Olson is able to be up and around again. Winona has been critically ill for several months and her many friends rejoiced when she was able to take her place beside them in Sunday school, Sunday. She is a great favorite in this little ward and we are all glad that she will soon be well enough to be one with us in all our gatherings. The following ladies called Tuesday to celebrate the birthday anniversary of Mrs. Ruel B. Nielson: Mrs. Wm. Nielson, Mrs. Carl Nielson, Mrs. Elmer El-mer Nielson Mrs. Geo. Morley and Mrs. Arthur Anderson of Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Peterson were guests Tuesday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Ruel Nielson. President C. A. Peterson of the Stake Y. M. M. I. A. and Mrs. R. C. Swalberg were Axtell visitors Tuesday evening. Mr. ami Mrs. C. L. Despain were Ephraim visitors Tuesday. Thos. Crowther and Rufus Frand-son Frand-son received the contract for loading beets at the Axtell dump, and they now have several teams busily at work on the, some 4000 tons there are in the pile. ; Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Allred aire visaing in Ft. Green. Miss Armstrong spent the week end visiting her parents at Ephraim. |
