Show Says Great Valley -I Has Bright Future "You have a most wonderful valley val-ley here and there is no reason why it should not be one of the foremost in farm production and small stock-raising stock-raising in the entire west. Your prospects for beet raising, under or- dinary conditions, too, are ideal and ;,.- with a million dollar sugar factory so conveniently located, gives an advantage ad-vantage that very few farming localities local-ities in the west can boast of." Thus spoke Orrin Seager, one of the prominent prom-inent farmers and stockmen of Tre-monton. Tre-monton. Mr. Seager, who was accompanied ac-companied by his wife, spent a couple of days here last week as the guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Seager had been touring eastern and southeastern southeast-ern Utah counties with a view to finding a new location. They visited many sections, and, according to Mr. Seager, saw many attractive farming sections, but none of them compared are gave greater promise than the Gunnison Valley. Before departing for his home Mr. Seager stated that he would more than likely return to the valley soon and make further investigations with a view to investing in farm lands for his sons and himself. While he has been successful in his own section, the Tremonton Valley, he is desirous of making a change and his impression impres-sion of the Great Gunnison Valley was so strong that he will most likely like-ly become a resident. |
