Show U. S. IS NOT AT FAULT Major General John F. O'Ryan, of New York, in a speech before the Cincinnati Peace league, said that Europe sees in the United Ssates the greatest manace to world peace. It was not the United States that dis-urbed dis-urbed the peace of the world in 1914 Since the close of the world war, the United States has had nothing to do with staging the score of big and little lit-tle wars that have occurred in Europe The best contribution any citizen can make to neighborhood peace is to attend at-tend to his own business and keep his nose out of other people's. It is a good a peace program for a nation as for an individual. If Europe regards re-gards the United States as a menace men-ace to world peace it is overlooking a good many things much nearer at home. "I intend to go out and wake up .the country" cried a young college graduate. Next day he accepted a job selling alarm clocks in the rural districts. |
