Mr. Smith spoke of the ideal dairy conditions in the valley. The feeding feed-ing rations, such as beet pulp, alfalfa alfal-fa and the production of barley, are such that success would follow any attempt at milk production. Mr. Smith proposed that a carload of milk cows be imported into the valley and suggested a plan where it vould be easy from a financial standpoint stand-point for anyone to secure from three to five head of good milk cows.
