Cutting Shade Trees. Complaint was made at The Buglkr ofliee last evening thut boys have been along Pleasant street, back of Judge Peters residence, cutting and hacking the shade trees in a shocking manner. Thirteen trees in one row have thus been marked by ax or hatchet, in the hands of some mean or thoughtless thought-less scamp. Near V. II. Harris' Har-ris' place, close by, two trees are cut half in two. The marks are freeh, showing that they have been made within the week. Parents should look after their boys. The perpetrators of such a deed deserve severe punishment.
