Schramm left for Salt Lake the early days of the week, where I she will remain for a week or ten days ; visiting with relatives. Mrs. Arthur Blixt, Verne Olson, Mrs. Caroline Rees, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. ! Allen, all of Santaquin, were the guests ' at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Blixt last Friday and Saturday. J Miss Leona Edwards left for the coast this morning. She will visit for two j weeks or more at Los Angeles, after ; which she will go to San Diego where ' she will spend the winter with Mr. and ; Mrs. Clyde Tuft. ! John Newreen, a former Gunnison boy, but who is now a resident of Salt '. Lake, spent several days here this week renewing acquaintances. Mr. Newreen 1 came down for a brief visit and for the purpose of seeking the festive duck in ,the marshes west of town. ! Mr. and Mrs. N. L. Hermansen were Salt Lake visitors this week. G. H. Backman, Jr., sales auditor for the Z. C. M. I., Salt Lake, epent a few days in Gunnison this week, Mr. Back-man Back-man is touring the southern part of the state for his company. Floyd Beck, assistant cashier of .' the ! Gunnison Valley bank, who has been on ! a combined business and pleasure trip j to Salt Lake several days this week returned re-turned home lastevening. ; Mrs Hyrum Fredrickson left last Friday for an extended visit to friends and relatives in the northern part of the state. While away sh will visit in Salt Lake, Ogden, Imogen and other points. ' Tom Brown, master mechanic for the Utah Potash company, operating in Piute county, was a brief visitor to Gunnison Tuesday. Mr. Brown was on his way to Bingham on important i mining business. |
