Show RETURNS FROM CHICAGO Fred J. Fjeldsted, who acted as music director of the Jordan high school last year, returned the first of the week from Chicago, where he took a nine-weeks' course in voice culture under George Nelson Holt, who is said to be one of the foremost fore-most vocal authorities in America. Mr. Holt was a student of Jean de Reszke for three years, with whom he acted also as an assistant teacher. He also studied piano while away and took a course in public school methods meth-ods at the American Conservatory of Music. Mr. Fjeldsted will have charge of music in the schools of Tooele next year. |
