Mrs. Tom Brown vt Richfield, is here and is. visiting with her daughter, Mrs. Milss Madsen and young Miles Edward Madsen. Mr. and Mrs. Cullom Moore and Mrs. L. M. Nelson, of Proyo, were the guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Duggins last Sunday. Ariche Sorenson. Miss Elva Sorenson and Miss Erma Lunbeberg spent last Sunday visiting with friends at Ephraim. Miss Inga Bjorklund, the house guest of Miss Erma Lundeberg for several days, returned to her home at Salt Lake last Sunday. Hott, and daughter, May Jeanne, left Sunday for their home at Alamosa, Colo. Mrs. Hoff had been the guests of father and relatives for two weeks. . s Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Whitbeck, of Sterling, announce the arrival of a fine baby boy at their home. The baby was born last Wednesday morning and everybody is doing nicely. L. Zeigman, a former resident of the Jewish colony on the west side, and who has been living in California, spent several days here this week visiting with friends and looking after business matters. Elden Willardson, a former resident of Gunnison and who served some time as assistant chemist at the Gunnison Valley Sugar Factory, is now located at Santa Anna, California. Elden is assistant chemist at the Santa Anna factory. The members of the Bo Zart club, together with a number of invited guests, enjoyed a picnic at Monroe Hot Springs last Wednesday afternoon. Dancing, bathing and picnic lunch prepared pre-pared by the lady members, were highly high-ly enjoyed. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Rawlings, Mr. and jMrs. S. J. Michelson, Misses Portia I Rawlings and Rea Swan and O. A. Michelson,. were here - from Draper for a brief visit to Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Swalberg Tuesday morning. Those in the party were enroute to Fish Lake where they will spend a week or more reveling in the beauties of Utah's scenic wonder. Mrs. Edward Olson of Salt Lake is the house guest of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Willardson. She expects to remain in Gunnison for six weeks or two months. Mr. and Mrs. N. A. Fredrickson, who have been the guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Willardson for the past two weeks, left for their home at Salt Lake last Monday morning. Mr. and Mrs. E.H.Clark, of Pocatello, and Mrs. Elizabeth and Miss Virginia Peterson, returned to their respective homes last week after spending ten days visiting at the home of Mrs. Annie and Miss LuDeen Christensen. Bishop Joseph Christenson, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Christenson, of Salt Lake City, are here as the guest of friends and relatives. Bishop and Mrs. Christenson are spending a brief vacation vaca-tion and are enjoying the beauties of the valley. Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Pace and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Pace, left last Tuesday for a motor trip to northern points. After a brief visit at Salt Lake they will go to Idaho Falls, Idaho, to spend a week or more visiting with friends and relatives. Miss Linda Bardsley, postmaster at the Gunnison office, left last Sunday morning for a two weeks or more vacation. She will spend a portion of her vacation in Provo canyon and latter will go to Salt Lake and visit the resorts re-sorts near the capit.ol city.
