Show twelve important markets during the week ending December 2 were: Cattle Cat-tle and calves, 92,423; hogs, 6,493; sheep, 22,384. Eastern wholesale fresh meat prices advanced rather sharply. Pork loins up ?4-$6; lamb, $l-$3; mutton, $2-?3; veal, $2; beef, ?50-$2. December De-cember 9 prices good grade meats: Beef, 13.50-116.50; veal, $18-$20; lamb, $24-?26; mutton, $12-$16; light pork loins, $19-52 4; heavy loins, $16-$20. . .Grain Wheat and corn prices registered reg-istered net declines for the week with lack of support and rains in drouth areas the main depressing factors. On the Sth and 9th there was an ad vance on renewal of export demand and report of improved flour and cash demand in the Northwest, but a reaction followed and prices declined de-clined on the 10th. Closing prices in Chicago cash market: No 2 red winter win-ter wheat, $1.19; No. 2 hard winter wheat, $l.'l3; No. 2 mixed corn, 50c; No. 2 yellow corn, 50c; No. 3 white oats, 3 4c; average price to farmers n central Iowa for No. 2 mixed corn about 3 4c; to farmers in central North Dakota for No. 1 dark northern north-ern wheat, $1.05; to farmers in central Kansas for No. 2 hard winter wheat, 9 0c. Chicago May wheat declined de-clined two cents, closing at $1.14; Chicago May corn down half cent, closing at 54c; Minneapolis May wheat down one cent, closing at $1.21; Kansas City May wheat down 3c, closing at $1.09. Daivy Products Butter market unsettled during week with prices showing considerable fluctuation but the tone at the close of week was steady to firm. Livestock and Meats Chicago hog ! prices ranged rfom 20c-65c higher per hundred pounds during the ' week, light hogs advancing most. On the average beef steers ranged from steady to 25c higher.
