Show LOUIS DORIUS IS BADLY INJURED LouisO. Dorius, for several years past a resident of Fayette, but more recently of Ephraim, was seriously injured at his ranch near Fayette last Saturday. So serious is his condition con-dition that the attending physicians are skeptical as to the outcome and little hopes are entertained for his recovery. Mr. Dorius, while riding his horse last Saturday, was thrown and in some manner the animal fell on the prostrate man, pinning him beneath. When he was rescued from his position posi-tion he was hurried to a nearby residence resi-dence for first-aid treatment. An examination showed only bruises on the outside of the body, and it is believed be-lieved that Dorius, after being thrown, was kicked. There were strong evidences of internal injuries and it is believed these were sustained sustain-ed when the man was thrown and '.he horse fell on him.' Mr. Dorius, when found, was unconscious un-conscious and he has remained in n semi-conscious state ever since. He was hurried to his home in Ephraim where he is under the care of his family physician. He is about 45 years of age and has a large family. |
