Show HIGH SCHOOL CLOSES TERM This week murks the closing of the high school for Gunnison for the term and fitting exercises for the event are scheduled for tonight at the R. S. hall. Yesterday was field day at the Gunnison reservoir grove and tonight closing exercises will be held. Notwithstanding the fact that some seven weeks were lost through the closing of the schools on account of the influenza epidemic last fall, the term has been one of the most successful in years. During the closing clos-ing period a correspondence course was given and through this medium much of the time lost by closing was made up and altogether the term has been most gratifying. One drawback to a more successful success-ful year has been the attendance. The enrollment at the opening and during the entire session was far below be-low what it should have been and it Is to be hoped that the coming fall and wintter term will see every student stu-dent within the age limit at work in the school. The festivities of commencement week at the reservoir yesterday was v n most p.niovable affair. Manv snort features and games were indulged in and the students and their visitors visit-ors enjoyed a happy day. This afternoon from 2 to 5 o'closk the public is invited to visit the exhibit ex-hibit of students' work in Domestic Art, Applied Art and Shop work.
