In selecting a dairy breed it is not a matter of which is the bost broed, but the one best suited for prevailing conditions. Select with a view to adaptability and for the purpose for which the animal is kept. Some breels are noted for the quantity of milk they produce; others for tho richness of their milk; others for the color of cream or butter.
