Show SUPERIOR MILK CAN COVER New York Man Invents Device Which Forms Tight Closure and Can Be Securely Locked. In describing a milk can cover Invented In-vented by R. O. Thompson of Campbell Camp-bell Hall, N. Y., the Scientific American Amer-ican says: "The object here is to provide a cover which will form a perfectly tight closure for a vessel and be capable cap-able of being securely locked lu closing clos-ing position, so as to prevent access to the can by unauthorized persons. For this purpose the inventor coi ; Milk Can Cover. structs the neck of the can and tha closure, which is fitted to the same so as to have snugly engaging surfaces, eliminating all possibility of leakage; and he provides an attachment for the top of the can w hich co-operates with the edge of the closure to enable en-able a locking device to secure a closure in position on the can until the same is removed. |
