Show MIDLAND TRAIL CONVENTION- At Sslina tomorrow, Saturday Aug. 9 will be held a convention of boosters in behalf of the Salina route as being "the sure way" to bring Midland Trail of the proposed National Highways High-ways system of 50,000 miles of good roads. Gunnison should heartily respond aud by all means Bend a good delegation to th,is convention, particulars of which are set forth in ihe call issued by the Commercial club of Salina and here follows : Pursuant to a meeting held at Castle Dale by, membersj of the Salina and Castle Dala Commercial Commer-cial clubs to discuss the bringing of the Midland Trail by way of Salina Canyon, a motion being put aud carried to the effect that Salina should arrange for and call a meeting early in August of representatives from Sevier, Emery. Sanoste. Juab. Garfield, , - w , Piute. Wayne, Beaver, Millard, Iron, Washington and Kaue counties, the following arrauge-meuts arrauge-meuts have been macje : A meetiug will be held iu Salina Saturday, August 9, 1913, at 10 a. in. and another session at 2 p. m. for the purpose of discussing the Salina canyon,,. route and starting an organized,niovement with these counties for a good and permanent road. through this canyon.
