Show MANTUA MATTERS. I A Fine School Program Creditably Rendered Ren-dered on Washington's Birthday. The Mantua school presented a very interesting program on Washington's birthday. It was presented in the morning to a large audience. Each performer did his part with credit. Tho following fol-lowing program was carried out: .Snug by the school A I'leasuul Morning. Prayer by M. M. Jensen. Song by the school Uotne, Come. Come. Recitation by ten children. Song by David Peters Union Brothers. Recitation by Christine jeppe-1 jeppe-1 sen. Song by John ny K11 udsen Little lirown Jug. Song by three boys and three Xirls. " . A story by Annie Jensen. Song by a company of young men and Indies. RKiitation by Mary Eskelscn. Address by C. M. Jensen. Duet by Lucy Shaw and Christine Chris-tine Jensen. Jas. Knudsen, Charles Jeppsen, Christine Jacobsen and David J.ihnson took part in the program. Song by P. II. Peters A motto for every man. Address by Bishop Jensen. Song by school Work for the Night is Coming. Benediction by C. M. Jensen. After the program, sleighing and dancing were entered into with a spirit and enjoyed. Gwvi.im Bach. Mantua, Utah. On Sunday evening, Feb. 20th, .1 joint session of the young men and ladies Mas held in Mantua. The program consisted of lectures, recitations ant! songs. Tho visitors visi-tors present were Pres. C. Kelly and Elder W. Hansen, of Brigham ; Elder Petersen, of Logan; Andrew L. Andersen and Thos. "Wild, of Mink Creek.
