A Big Grist of Interesting Inter-esting Items Which Tells of the Doings of Our Neighbors. We have the lightning rod men with us and they appear to have a snap. D. T. Wells has returned from Montana to take charge of the ranch of the Standing family. W. II. Iicolhe, Sr., is visiting some of his old friends today. We are very much pleased to hear that John Gai nes, of Fielding, who h;s been confined to his bed . for many weeks past, with rheumatism, rheuma-tism, is improving; also that Hy-runi Hy-runi Hess, of Plymouth, who broke his leg so badly, is much better. The parties given by Mr. Royle in his new hall are quite a success, and are very well patronized. Your old townsman, J. P. Tom Evans, is thinking soriously of moving his family hare in the spring. We would be weL pleased to have them come. The Collinston boom ia only waiting for spring, to fully develop itself. At present, everything is very quiet. Our new J. P., J. II. Watkins, tried his first case a few days ago, and gave the prisoner, a tramp, all he could expect: thirty days' ! board, at the expense of the county, for stealing an overcoat. Hy., your former" correspondent, and Collector elect, thinks your informant a little previous in stating sta-ting that ho will soon move to Brigham. It will be a few months later on. A petition favoring Mr. Steed for Probate Judge, should a vacancy occur in that office, is being numerously nu-merously signed. That gentleman has man)' friends here, who are pleased to have a chance to show their good-will. As card playing for money was getting get-ting to be a too common occurrence at tho saloon, our Deputy Sheriff, W. E. Loveland, very properly put a stop to it last week. Miss Yates gives a party tomorrow tomor-row night at the close of her school at Beaver Dam. Your paper is' a welcome visitor once a week, and as Collinston has not been represented for some time past wo send you this, hoping you will be able to find a correspondent correspond-ent who can more successfully write up our little burg and assist in your success as a newspaper.
