The Silver Shield cross-cut has been driven through ore for sixty feet and the management has every reason to believe that additional dPvel-opment dPvel-opment will disclose more ore than has yet been encountered. The Fortuna has drifted for twenty-five twenty-five feet on the Keystone ledge and now has a seven-foot face of ore running high in copper and carrying much iron. Two hundred tons Is the present" dally output of the Boston Con. During the past year train service has been more than doubled to Bingham. Instead of one passenger passen-ger and one freight, two passenger and three or more freight trains make the daily trip to the camp. The ore shipments are over 2,000 tons daily. John C. Craig as superintendent of the Yampa properties. It is announced in Boston that the Utah Con. proposes pro-poses to Increase the capacity of Its smelter from 825 to 1,325 tons.
