Show LIONEL BARRYMORE AND "THE OTHER GIRL." In introducing Lionel Barrymore as a star, Charles Frohman has given evidence of that ster ling dramatic judgment that has prosented thea- I tregoers with some of the greatest theatrical en terprises of stage history. Mr. Barrymore at a bound became one of the most successful stars iu Mr. Frohman's control and has taken his place as a standard American attraction beside those other great dramatic luminaries whom Mr. Frohman Froh-man directs Maude Adams, Ethel Barrymore, John Drew, Henry Miller, William Faversham and the others. In the role of Kid Garvey In Augustus Thonias' most brilliant comedy, "The Other Girl" In which Mr. Barrymore will be seen here, he fair- iy electrified Now York theatregoers during the run of the play the entire of last season there. This success was only to have been expected, however, how-ever, from the son of such eminent theatrical parentage par-entage as has Mr. Barrymore, who has Ethel Bar-rymore Bar-rymore for a sister, John Barrymore for a brother. John Drew for an uncle, Maurice Barrymore and Georgie Drew Barrymore for parents and the famous fam-ous Drews for grandparents. Mr. Barrymore is supported sup-ported by the New York cast and the original New York production complete. He will be seen here in April. |
