Show Otto M. Stewart Otto M. Stewart, 84, died May 20, 1984 in St. George. He was born May 12, 1900, Tropic, to Joseph Levi and Phoebe Ann Cox Stewart. He married Hannah Areta Roundy December 20, 1929 in the St. George LDS Temple. He served on the Tropic Town Council and was a member of the LDS Church where he served as high priest group leader, Sunday School superintendent, secretary of the elders' quorum, secretary of the seventy's quorum, counselor in the MIA, genealogical committee member, ward clerk and home teacher. Survivors: wife, Santa Clara; children, Otto, Jr., Santa Clara; Vrene Robinson, Boise, Ida.; Marva Thompson and Lorea Durrant, Cedar City; L.E. "Lee" Stewart, Washington; Dovora "Dee" Webb, Moroni; 23 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren; brother Reginald Stewart, Tropic; sister, Iona Sorenson, Springville; Vinnie Sorenson, Provo. Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the Santa Clara LDS Ward chapel. Friends may call Thursday evening from 7 until 8 p.m. at the Spilsbury and Graff Mortuary in St. George and on Friday at the Santa Clara Ward chapel from 9 a.m. until time of services. Interment will be in St. George City Cemetery. |
