Show DUI, Drug Charges Are Leveled Panguitch City police reported the arrest of David LeFevre, 27, Panguitch, on charges of open container and driving under the influence. LeFevre was cited May 17, held overnight in Garfield County Jail, and released the following morning after posting $400 bail. City officers also reported the arrest of two juveniles, Monday, on charges of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, and distribution of a controlled substance sub-stance of no value, marijuana. Officers were called to Panguitch High School about 9 a.m. Monday . after two juveniles were apparently observed smoking the contraband on the school grounds. During the course of the investigation in-vestigation the individuals and gym lockers of both young adults, were searched as well as the individuals themselves, producing a partial marijuana cigarette and baggie of suspected marijuana. ' Parents of both youths were called to the school and later that morning both students were expelled by-Principal by-Principal Bennett Josie for a period of two days. All evidence collected was referred to Fourth District Juvenile Court for further action. |
