Show 1 Hatch Happenings Reva Lowder Our ward held a mutton fry at the cultural hall. Proceeds to go toward the stake building fund. - Speakers in sacrament meeting were Ardis Etans, Wiley Huntington, Lucille and Sam Evans. Visiting Mrs. Lilith Wilson were the Scott Poulsen and Virginia Wilson. They all attended church in the new fourth ward in Parowan where Lilith's son Kent Wilson was sustained as the new bishop. Visiting Lilith during the week were Russell Wilson and three of his sons, the Karl Wilsons and the Richard Wilsons, St. George. Visitors at the E. F. Tureks were the E. H. Tureks, Las Vegas. The Eric Barnhursts were happy to have most of their family home during the week. Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth Barnhurst and children, Gainsville, Florida; Mr. and Mrs. Del Barnhurst, Idaho Falls, Idaho and Danny Barnhurst, Cedar City. Visitors at the Leland Riggs home was a friend from Neumunster, Germany, Joachim Degenkolbe and his friends Andrea and Achim, twin friends from Cedar City, Kent and Brent Osborne who have just returned from missions. The Riggs als,o had friends from Omaha, Nebraska, Robert and Carolyn Godfrey. They were here looking after their property, the new Bryce Restaurant and Motel. were overnight visitors with son Wynn and family in Washington. Visiting the Tureks several days were Ada Nordell, Washington and Mr. and Mrs. Brent Turek, Denver. Grant Dalton is in Panguitch hospital where he is recovering from pneumonia. Visiting the Daltons were grandchildren grand-children Travis and Shawnee Clark, Kanab; the Gib Clarks, Kanab; the Wayne Stubbs, Parowan and the Pete Chidlers, Auburn, Calif. May Sawyer and Velma Huntington visited in Cedar City They brought Jeffrey and Eric Sawyer here to visit. Kerry and Kent took them home. were Kendall Gifford and Mrs. Watts, Springdale. . Spence and Doris Hawkins and family visited the Layton Barneys. Barn-eys. Mr. and Mrs. LaVal Sawyer and children went to Salt Lake City to visit Verda Sawyer in the hospital. Visiting the Sam Evans were Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Gifford, Springdale and Mr. and Mrs. Avard Gifford of Calif. Bishop Dallas F. Barnhurst, Mervin Barnhurst, Kent Sawyer took young men of our ward Pete Saweyr and Allen Riggs on a trip to Salt Lake City. They stopped in the LDS Hospital to visit Verda Sawyer. Carta Sawyer accompanied ac-companied Mr. and Mrs. Garth Heap to Hurricane Thursday to visit the Allen Humpheries. The Heaps went on to the St. George Temple. Lucinda and Michael stayed until Friday when LaVal, Carta and Lance went after them. Jeff, Nicole and Kirsten Rhees, Page, Arizona visited the Sawyers last week. Visiting Maggie Barnhurst Bar-nhurst were her niece, Donna Cortez, Garland and Maggie's brother Owen Sanders, Hurricane. Those from here attending at-tending the wedding and reception in Santa Clara for Richard Dix and Terri Wood of St. George were Mr. and Mrs. Karl Lowder, Laretta Lowder, Vaelyn and Jason Sawyer, Velma Huntington, Hun-tington, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Burrows. Visiting Mrs. Lilith Wilson were the Robert Wilsons; Russell Wilson and Karl Wilson, St. George and Kent Wilson, Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Turek went to St. George to see his doctor. They Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Evans visited their families in Dixie for several days. Mr. and Mrs. Layton Barney are remodeling their home. The Gary Fagg family of New Harmony are moving into the Mike Evans home. Sharon and Denise . Hunt, Coeur D'Alene, Idaho are here visiting the Ron Youngs. Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Barney visited in Cedar City with Elaine and Brenda Barney. Reva and Laretta Lowder, Vaelyn and Jason Sawyer went to Minersville to visit the Larry Baileys until Monday. Miss Barbara Fallis, Fallon, Nev. visited her grandmother, Abbie Fallis. Idonna and Rose Elaine Deuel visited in Cedar City. Jennifer Mack, Provo is here visiting the Kenneth Macks. The Lynn Savage family, Antimony visited the Nile Sawyers. Effel Riggs had . her cousins Vie Perkins, St. George and Reta Harris, Washington, Ut. visit her. They also visited their cousin Lilith Wilson and all went on a picnic to Hidden Lake in Kane county. Spending several days at their home were the Tom Johns 'and the Lee 'Syphus of Las Vegas1: ''Visiting the!iDa'Vid Sawyers were the Kurt Sawyers. Jeffrey and Eric Sawyer, Cedar City; Estella and Geneva Workman, Glendale also visited. The Sawyers met the Ken Roberts of Antimony An-timony at Mt. Dutton for a picnic. Kerry Sawyer ' visited several , days in Antimony with the Ken Roberts. Mr. and Mrs. Chris Quigley left for Vacaville, . Calif; where she will stay for the winter and Tex 'will go out to sea for the winter on a ship. Mike Evans came from Arizona to move his family there where he has employment. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Dalton visited his brother Duke and Mary Ann Dalton in Monroe. Pete, Faun and Shelly Childers, Auburn, Calif, visited a few days with the Daltons then went on to Rexburg, Idaho where Shelly stayed to attend Ricks College. Her brother Burk was already there. The Bruce Daltons, Panguitch visited them Wednesdav. Duard Riggs and son, Salt Lake City visited Mr. and Mrs. Orlas Riggs. Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Barnhurst and her mother Dicie Shumway, Salt Lake City; Loraine, Gloria and Rebecca Muier, Cedar City visited . relatives in town.
