Show NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER SALE, DIXIE NATIONAL FOREST, SWEETWATER SALE, located within T32 and 33S, R3E, SLB&M. Scaled bids will be received by the Forest Supervisor, Federal Building, P.O. Box 580, Cedar City, Utah 84720, at 2:00 P.M., local time at the place of bid opening, September 26, 1980, to be followed immediately im-mediately by ORAL BIDDING for an estimated 5826 M board feet of Ponderosa Pine and other species of timber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. The minimum acceptable bid per M board feet for Ponderosa Pine and other species is $3.00. Additional deposit required for slash disposal is $8.48 per M board feet of all species. The bid rates will be subject to adjustment during the period of the sale as provided for by the quarterly adjustment provisions of the timber sale contract. In addition, there is within the Bale area an unestimated volume of dead timber of all species which will be paid for at $1.00 per M ' board feet. Required bid " guarantee is $4,100.00. This is a Small Business Set-Aside Sale-. Bids from others will bt considered if no valid bid is received from a small business concern. In accordnace with the National Forest Management Act of 1376, a bidder qualifying as a small business under the Small Fusiness Act (as amended and the regulations issued thereunder) may elect at the time of sealed bid . submission to have the Forest Srrvice construct the included specified roads. If the bidder elects to have the Fores't Service Ser-vice construct the reads, the price paid for the timber shall include the estimated construction costs which is $248,796. Such road3 will be constructed con-structed to the design classes and in accordance with drawings and specifications included in the sample contract. Purchaser Credit Limit is stated in the sample contract and is $230,430. There are no available purchaser credits at advertised rates. Specified roads, whether constructed by the purchaser or the Forest Service, shall be completed by December 31, 1982. (Final date for completion of all ro.?d construction.)
