Show Allen Appointed to FniHA Committee Phil Allen has been appointed a member of the Garfield-Kane County Farmers Home Administration Ad-ministration Committee. Glen W. Tingey, County FmHA Supervisor announced, an-nounced, at this week's committee meeting. Allen, an Antimony, Utah rancher, replaced Arlis Brooks of Escalante, who recently served out the maximum 3 year period on the committee. Other members of the 3-man committee are Rhoana Findlay, Kanab, and Harold Sevy from Panguitch. FmHA is a credit arm of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. One of its functions is to help farmers far-mers and other rural and small town people, unable to borrow money elsewhere. |
