Show gscauwtu nnvjs By Marlene Haws 826-4859 marlenehcolor-country.net Arnold and Deon Alvey had family here for the Memorial Day weekend. Dave and Raylene and Justin and Jessica Whitefield, Las Vegas, Nev., and Brad and Janeen Duncan and their granddaughter Hailey Snedegar, Loa. The kids had such a good time they didn't want to go home. In fact Hailey coaxed her grandparents into staying one more night. She and Justin had Grandpa's back yard all dug up, so I think they had to stay and dig some more holes to put all the dirt in! Link and Donna Chynoweth have been following the rodeo crowd around again. Recently their son Flint traveled with his team roping partner Nathan Cooper of Panguitch, and another anoth-er team, John Reese of Orderville, and Danny Meyers of Delta, to Las Vegas where both teams won first place in their division. Each received a new saddle and a sizable check. They hauled all four saddles home in the same trailer! Pretty impressive! Last weekend Chance Brooks, Adam Mclnelly and Dace Chynoweth participated in the High School Rodeo Finals at Heber City in team roping. They did well. Didn't come home with any of the big money, but they had fun and are now looking forward to the rodeo invitational in Panguitch, on July 24th. The Chynoweths took their son Terrill to Salt Lake City last Sunday and left him to attend a camp for disabled kids. He will be gone a whole week and was really excited that he was the only one in his family that was able to go. |
