Show Emry Humphreys Named 'Leader And Achiever' HATCH Emry Humphreys of Hatch has been recognized as one of Comcast's "Leaders and Achievers" with a $1,000 grant from The Comcast Foundation for her outstanding commitment to community service. Emry is a 2004 graduate of Panguitch High School and she will be attending Southern Utah University in the fall. Emry's parents are the Todd Humphreys of Hatch The Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program, funded through the Concast Foundation, acknowledges high school sseniors for exemplary community service, leadership skills, positive attitude, and academic aca-demic achievement. In 2004, the program granted $1 million recognizin 1,040 students attaending high schools in Comcast communities across the country. This year, Comcast recognized' 32 young people from the state of Utah. To date, the program has awarded more than $2.8 million in scholarships to high school seniors. The Comcast Foundation was founded by Comcast Corporation in 1999 and is the company's chief source of charitable char-itable support to qualified nonprofit non-profit organizations. The Foundation primarily invests in programs that work to create a positive, sustainable impact within its communities in the areas of volunteerism; licracy, reading and learning; and youth leadership development.
