On Wednesday night the school sponsored a fund raising dinner and talent show. The spaghetti dinner was great and we have a lot of great talent in our area. I hope at this writing that Katie is doing much better. We were sorry to hear of her accident. acci-dent. Gary and Sandy Johnson went to Minersville for the missionary mis-sionary talk given by Matt Albrecht, a brother of Jed and Becca Albrecht and son of Russell and Wendy Albrecht. Also attending were Brady and Ruth Carter and son, Treyton and Esther Johnson. Matt served a Kentucky mission. i Sandy also went to Cedar City to visit daughter, Ruth and help tend her grandson, Treyton. Les and Shirley Barker spent a few days in St. George for work meetings for in conjunction conjunc-tion with his job. Glen and Shauna and Chris Pendley were in Cedar City for doctors appointments. Ernie took the senior van to Panguitch on Thursday for Care & Share. Dorsie Huffaker had appointments appoint-ments at the eye doctor in Panguitch. Kathy Goulding was in Cedar City for doctors appointments on Thursday. I went to Tropic to see Wallace and Mary Ott as they returned from Salt Lake City where he had surgery. They have gone to St. George to stay with their daughter, Marilyn while he recuperates. They will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on Saturday with family members. Cody Mortensen is home from Kuwait for a few days leave. His family are all very happy to have him home for the Thanksgiving holiday. |
