Show Parenting Classes Offered In Panguitch PANGU1TCH - According to skills instructor, Virginia Englestead of Panguitch, "to be a good parent today, you need both a warm heart and a cool head, along with unconditional love and respect for your child." New Frontiers for Families is excited to be offering "Common Sense Parenting" classes in communities in southern Utah. "These classes really do make a difference," adds Englestead. The classes run for six weeks and are confidential. New classes class-es begin every eight weeks. The next classes will begin in January. The classes are held in a fun, friendly atmosphere. It's fun for parents to exchange funny stories, sto-ries, experiences and refreshments refresh-ments will be served as well. Some topics the classes will include are peer pressure and choices, the influence of the media, your child's success in school, teaching self-control, reaching goals and communica tion. Classes are for parents, grandparents or for anyone wanting to improve their parenting parent-ing skills. The classes help good parents become better. Skills learned in these classes are helpful help-ful and can be used in every aspect of a person's life. Parents learn skills that are logical, workable and they can see immediate improvement. In addition to the Common Sense Parenting classes that are for ages 6 and up, New Frontiers offers to parents Common Sense Parenting for Toddlers.
