" M II I i mir i i'i 1 1 11 i i law i Amanda Barney and Sydney Houston, both of Panguitch, were recently recognized for their achievements and were awarded the coveted Young Womanhood Recognition Award. Two Young LDS Women Receive Recognition PANGUITCH -Two young women, Amanda Barney 1 8, and Sydney Houston 18, from the Panguitch 4th Ward were recently recognized and honored hon-ored for their work in the LDS Young Women's Program when each received the Young Womanhood' Recognition Award. The coveted award requires several years of dedicated service serv-ice in many different areas. The young woman must give leadership leader-ship and organization to at least seven significant service projects, proj-ects, in addition to daily service and activity in the Young Women's Program. Amanda is the daughter of Curtis and Cindy Barney of Panguitch. Her favorite service project was Make A Difference Day at Panguitch Elementary School. Sydney is the daughter of Frank and JeriLu Houston of Panguitch. Her favorite service project was organizing and conducting con-ducting a fashion show. Both girls are seniors at Panguitch High School and have been very involved in sports and school activities. Their Young Women leader is Lisa Taylor. |
