K Clifford LeFevre 80th Birthday For LeFevre CLEARFIELD - Clifford Stewart LeFevre of Clearfield celebrated his 80th birthday with a family luncheon at the Joseph Smith building in Salt Lake City. Family pictures were displayed in scrapbooks, a special power-point power-point presentation was provided and family experiences were shared. Clifford was born in Spry, Utah Apr. 17, 1923 to Clifford and Dean Stewart LeFevre. He was raised in Panguitch and married Wilma Steed Oct. -8, 1943 in the St. George LDS Temple. They are the parents of five children: Darwin (Denise) LeFevre, Kenneth LeFevre, Steven (Nancy) LeFevre, Mark (Sabrina) LeFevre, Camille (See 80TH on page 7A) LeFevre Celebrate 80th From Page 2A (Sheldon) Cherry and a niece, Sherrie (Mike) Harbertson, whom he helped raise. He has 27 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Clifford and his family moved to Clearfield in 1966. He is a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints and has served in many positions. He is a patriarch patri-arch in the Sunset LDS Stake. He was a Director of Public Welfare for Garfield County, a principal at Panguitch High School and president of the Panguitch Lions Club. He was a partner and operator of Bear Valley Ranches in Spry. Clifford has been active in local and state government throughout through-out his life. He served his country coun-try in the military in WWII and served four terms in the Utah State Legislature. He served on the Board of Regents and on many other state boards. He spent 35 years in pubile education, retiring as personnel per-sonnel director for Weber County schools. He loves to travel, especially to the rural area of Utah. His family and friends are his greatest great-est joy. Paid |
