Show Saying Thanks To All We wish to thank the people of Garfield County and the Upper Sevier River watershed for their gracious hospitality this summer. In May, we signed on as Dixie National Forest volunteers volun-teers to help do a newsletter- for a watershed project involving local people with state and federal fed-eral agencies. We wondered how we would be received. We simply can't begin to describe the wonderful treatment we received from everyone in the last four and a half months. The people here are fantastic. We wish we could name everyone at Escalante, Henrieville, Tropic, Bryce, Antimony, Circleville, Junction, Kingston, Panguitch, Hatch, Duck Creek and Cedar City who made us feel so welcome. Some people say the scenery is the area's biggest asset. We say it's the people from every walk of life and avocation. Their hearts are pure gold and their spirits will always be an inspiration to us. They are proud of their rich history and excited about the potential of a promising future. Their faith and kindness to one and all is truly unique in our experience. When we think of this area, we will always think of the people peo-ple first and the natural wonders second, for it is those people who have touched us in so many special ways we will never forget. for-get. We wish there were more than these words to express our deep gratitude and appreciation for you. You are all wonderful and we wish you every success and may God Bless You and your families and friends! Susan McCulla John Parsons |
