Those who helped were back row left to right Lucy Popovich, Marie Liston, PANGUITCH - Eleven fleece blankets were made by the Panguitch Homemakers and donated to the Garfield County Sheriffs Office for the deputies to carry in their vehicles. The project chairperson was Evelyn Roe, serving on the committee were Verda Oldham, Lucy Popovich, Hilda Gardner. Also six baby blankets with matching bibs and burp pads were made and donated to the Senior Sheriff Than Cooper, Pearl Walker, Deputy Kevin Moore, Deputy Arthur Miller and Denise Dastrup; front row: Marilyn Veater, Verda Oldham, Evalyn Roe, and Hilda Gardner. Panguitch Homemakers Make Blankets For Service Project Center. The Panguitch Homemaking Club has 30 members mem-bers and the project was completed com-pleted in April as a service project. proj-ect. The ladies meet once a month, and are very involved with the County Fair. This group was organized through the Utah State Extension Services in 1945. These great ladies are looking forward to more service projects. On June 3, one of the blan- kets was given to a young lady that was involved in an automobile automo-bile accident. This young lady from Ogden was the only child in the vehicle wearing a seatbelt. Her two younger brothers were thrown from the vehicle, but are doing fine.
