Golden and Roxanna Johnson attended the LDS missionary farewell in Henrieville for Klay Chynoweth on Sunday. On Saturday, Roxann's two sisters, Katie Morton and Lula Moore visited her and they made banana splits to celebrate and had a lot of fun. Monday the Johnsons enjoyed a visit from Bob and Ardis Evans of Hatch and Edward and Collette Lydell of Salt Lake City. Both the wives are Golden's sisters. Ron and Kyla Mcintosh of Enoch have a new little son. His name is Tanner and he weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces. Proud grandparents are Steve and' VerJean Clark and great-grand-1 parents are Gene and MaryEtta Chynoweth. Visitors over the Memorial Day holiday at the home of Alma and Anita Fletcher were Curtis and Pauline Hansen and family of St. George; Michael and Rimi Fletcher and family of Tucson, Ariz.; Stephanie Scott and son of Mesa, Ariz.; and Erica Racker's two sons of St. George. They all had an enjoyable enjoy-able visit. Verle and Rose Palmer came from Page, Ariz.; Grover Smith came from Las Vegas, Nev. and Evanell and Greg Schow came from Panguitch to visit Joe and Rae Hughes and care for the. graves of loved ones. They went to Escalante and visited ' sister-in-law Beth Smith and attended the Lions Club dinner. They also went to the Grandstaircase Inn where Joe's ' nieces, Joyce and Lee Sorensen and family of Las Vegas, Nev.; Louise Harrison, Joel, Clayton and Ryan and Marilyn Beard and three children, Holly, Blake and Cabron were staying. Julius Dalley spent a day here visiting Joe, who took him out on the Lower Range. Delon, Leon, Gail and Diane Fletcher went to Spring City for the LDS mission report of a cousin. Nick Reynolds and family spent Memorial Day here with his mother, Bea Reynolds. Also visiting were Lark's brothers, Glade, Jim and Tom Reynolds and their wives. Kay Dunham and Lace Walker took Don and Louise Mangum to Beaver and Minersville to decorate graves. The Thompson family reunion was held at Cannonville Park May 25-27 with a large representation of family and , friends, lots of food, fun, games reminiscing and visiting. There were only two of the children of Joseph and Rachel Thompson able to attend, George Thompson and wife, Ada and Marva Fletcher, but all had representation. rep-resentation. Julia Higbee's family fam-ily was represented by Bob and Ginny Higbee, Cedar City; Eleh's family by Randall and Kathy Shumway, Avondale, Ariz.; Marva's family by Annabelle Palmer, with Neal and Cynthia Tanner and their three children; Cheryl Hawkings and three children; (See CANNONVILLE on pg. 6) Cannon ville News From Page 5-A . Heidi, Savannah and Djxie; Brook and Phoebe Wiseman and son; Patty Jo Lutes, son Bryce Taukinikifili and two sons; daughter Barbie and husband, Robert Larsen and daughter; Sue DeWalt and daughter, Beverli; Joe Thompson, wife, Trish and four children with guests, Collette and Tyrell Orme; Riley and Rachel Peeple. and daughter; Nick and Nellie "" Hadley and children; George Thompson, wife, Teresa and children; Nellie Higbee's daughter, Joan and her husband, Paul Bean; Rayda Barton's son Howard, wife Lavonna and five children; Laurie Holley Coon's daughter, Karmen Smith and her daughter, Tiffany. A wonderful time was had by all and we are already looking forward to next year.
