Show Meet The Candidates Friday Night ESCALANTEBOULDER Friday night, June 7, will be "Meet the Candidates" night in Boulder and Escalante where all local candidates for public office have been invited to introduce themselves to the voting public and to respond to questions. f The bulk of each meeting will be given to candidates in contested races. They have been asked to outline their credentials cre-dentials and goals in a three-to-five-minute presentation to the public. The remaining time will be spent in an open question ques-tion and answer session. The candidates will travel first to Boulder to meet with residents there at 5 p.m. at the Boulder Town Hall. They will leave at 6:15 for Escalante where the meeting is set to start at 7 p.m. at the Escalante Community Center. Invited to take part in the following order at Boulder are assessor candidates Tom Simkins and Joe Thompson; clerk candidates Camille Moore and Lloyd Brinkerhoff; sheriff candidates Than Cooper and Danny Perkins; and Utah State House District 73 candidates candi-dates Mike Noel and Robert Houston. Also invited are uncontested candidates Utah State Senate District 28 candidate candi-date Tom Hatch, Commissioners Clare Ramsay and Maloy Dodds, Attorney Wallace Lee, Treasurer Judy Henrie, and Recorder Les Barker. Garfield ' County School Board candidates Gladys LeFevre and Rick Sawyer will speak last at Boulder and have been asked to remain to discuss issues pertaining to Boulder, Hatch and Antimony district.
