Delano Callanhan had some minor surgery in Panguitch as Thursday is the day most of the traveling specialists come in. LaRona accompanied him. A barbeque was held at the home of Shawn Chynoweth to celebrate the birthday of his mother, Lael. All of the family was there. Max and Logann Eagar had their son, Calvin Marx Eagar blessed and given his name by his father, Max. Harold and Diane Collings of Springville, the Rex and Netta Eagar family and Alex Eagar all of Provo were here as well as Logann'a dad, Kirk Marx and brother, Jake of Longmont, Colo. Also here from Riverton was her mother, Dorsie Huffaker and from Tropic Vance and Jeanne Pollock. A family dinner was held at the Eagars following church. LaRona Callahan, Edith Barker, Robert and Gwen Mclnelly and Ramona Copfer attended the Manti LDS Temple where their sister, Mona Rae Twitchell of Antimony was sealed to her deceased husband, Clarence and their six children. They reported a very wonderful day was had by all. Cliff and Collette Mathews took their son, Chris to Garfield lvlemorial Hospital on Wednesday after he fractured his ankle. Russ and Lyllian LeFevre were in Vernal to the Lions Club Convention. While there they visited Janet LeFevre and children. chil-dren. A special Henrieville LDS Relief Society was held on Wednesday. Virginia Wetzel and her daughter, Sarah of St. George gave a demonstration on food storage. Gayle Moore and Lula Moore had a delicious taste table and Logann Eagar helped everyone to make sand art brownies. Louise Patterson demonstrated monkey bread. Roger Stahl and Jan Fox went to Idaho to their cabin in Indian Valley. He became ill and spent some time in the Veterans Hospital in Boise, Ida. They are here now and we welcome them back. He is doing much better and glad to be home. Visitors at Guy and Bev Thompsons are their daughter, Rachael Briet and two sons of Las Vegas, Nev. She reports George and Ada are doing well. Several people went for a ride on the seniors van to enjoy the fall colors. Traveling from here were Rhoda Shafer, Berthene Griffin, Delpha Rose, Anna Dunham and Margaret Braithwaite. From Tropic were Dixie Shakespear and Gloria Hayden. Clare Ramsay drove the van. They went up on the Mammoth on Cedar mountain. (See HENRIEVILLE on pg. 6) Henrieville From Page 6 Emie Henderson drove the senior van and took wife, Wynona, Doyle and Joan Jackson, Dixie Shakespear, Gloria Hayden, Bonnie Willis, Carol Ray and Helen Willis to Panguitch Friday evening last week to attend the Annual Garfield Memorial Hospital Foundation Dinner. The food was excellent along with the music and jokes of Lynn and son, Michael Griffin. |
