The Kaymar Willis family was in Cedar City on Sunday for the blessing of their new granddaughter. grand-daughter. The Cheston Slaters are the new parents. This gives them two little girls. Visiting with the Van Wileys on Sunday were Rory Henrie, Raymond Henrie and Terry Ott. Pumpkin projects are being finished at the Night Relief Society meeting. Bryce Allen was picked from Piute High School for the Academic All-State in baseball. The Halls have taken over ownership of the Antimony Merc and I notice that Marion VonKaenel, Reba Johnston, Yvonne Simpson and Geri Richards were working there. Barbara Gleave will still be making their pies. LDS Stake President Shannon Allen and wife, Julie and family will be attending LDS General Conference in Salt Lake City. Jerry Savage and Frank Savage traveled to Louisville, Colo, to visit with their brother, Bruce Savage. There seems to be lots of colds or flu in our little town. A baby shower will be held here in Antimony on Saturday for the new baby boy of the Justin Kings. |
