Susan Myer and boys of Cedar City were here visiting with Janett Young. May Sawyer went to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes where she met Kurt, Phyllis, and Brett Sawyer of Mesquite, Nev., and Aimee Sawyer of St. George. On Tuesday, May met Ken, Valeene and Garth Roberts of Antimony. They had a surprise steak and potatoes birthday party for Stephanie Roberts. On the way home, Valeene and Ken Roberts had car trouble. They had to have a tow truck come get their car. Dave Roberts took . them home. On Thursday, May Sawyer went to Antimony to pick up Valeene Roberts and brought her to Panguitch to get her car. Darol and Beth Allred went to the dentist in St. George and stayed over night with Lyle and Ann Allred and family. Sue Barney is working on jury duty. She has another job the other part of the week. LaVor Deuel of California was home for a few days. He visited his mother, Idonna Deuel and Rose Elaine Deuel. The fixed their car with a new steering steer-ing wheel housing. (See HATCH on page 4-A) Hatch News From Page 2-A - . Cassie Mack is in Fullerton, Calif, for a week. She had to go get her tooth fixed. Steve Ecklan was rushed to the hospital in Panguitch. He had been digging a post hole when his shirt became tangled in the digger. He was life flighted to Salt Lake City where we understand he has been having a hard time of it. We hope you can get better Steve. Mike Healey had a crash on his motorcycle. He is quite bunged up with two broken ankles, a broken leg and other hurts. Come on let's get better. On Sunday Brad and Jenefer Wilson came to visit Ruth Wilson for a few hours. They are newlyweds from St. George. . The Scouts went around Tuesday. They plowed the grounds for many of the older people in town, for their gardens. gar-dens. Russ and Jacee Torgerson went to Koosharem for the conference con-ference week end. Rick Sawyer went to Colorado to attend some meetings meet-ings for Bryce Canyon. He was gone for about a week. Darol and Beth Allred went to St. George for eye appointment and the dentist. May Sawyer received word that her grandson, Benjamin Sawyer has received his mission call to the San Diego Mission. Benjamin, who will be leaving on June 26, is from Idaho Falls. Valeene Roberts of Antimony stayed over night with May Sawyer. They were going to Cedar City for some eye surgery for May. Stephany Roberts and Shad Roberts of Henrieville went with them. Kurt and Brett Sawyer, Dusty Wynn and Justin Hughes and some friends came out to fix fence and enjoy the cool nights. They are from Mesquite, Nev. They stayed with May Sawyer. |
