Show AU7IU0UV UOVJS By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Several members of Rosalee Wheeler's family were here to get the Wheeler home opened. They cleaned yards and got everything ready for summer as Rosalee plans to spend the summer sum-mer here at her home. She was unable to be here last year. Eugene and Valeria King attended an afternoon session at the Manti LDS Temple with their grandson, who will be going on a mission to Korea. Our little town extends our deepest sympathy to Carol Gericke and her son Roy and daughter Deana at the tragic death of Garry Gericke. He has been such a help in our community, commu-nity, always helping with cooking cook-ing needed for the 4th of July, on the fire truck, and just about anything else. I can't possibly give the names of all the visitors over the (See ANTIMONY on page 3-A) Antimony News From Pase 2-A weekend at the Shields home, but among those who visited were Rachael and Wendy Liddle from Draper. Many attended the sad memorial ' for Gary Gericke which was held at the Triple G Cemetery in Antimony. Five of his grandchildren were there as well as son, Roy and daughter, Donna and many other family and friends. For those who remember the three fishermen who used to stay at the trailer park behind the store; Joe, Bob and Ray, Joe Novoselek of Boulder City, Nev., passed away from cancer. The Mike Robertsons have returned from California and will work again on their new house they are building up Antimony Canyon. Many had visitors during conference weekend but I do not have all the names. The Afton Bloods had their children and families here on the weekend. The Raymond Henries and their children and their families were at the Van Wileys. . The Jerry Savages had the Keith Savage family from Cedar City here over the long weekend. week-end. So many attended the meeting meet-ing in Junction concerning the (See ANTIMONY on page 4-A) Antimony From Page 3-A closing of the Otter Creek State Park and the Piute Park that the meeting, originally scheduled for the courthouse, had to be moved to the auditorium at the high school. Hopefully, all the talks will do some good and we will be able to keep our park and workers also. The Harold Holloways have returned to Las Vegas, Nev., for doctors appointments. The Grant Proctors were here for a day at their house. |
