Show cmmotwiutj nnws : I ! By Marva Fletcher 679-8521 John and Ramona Morreale and family are excited that son, Jeremy Moss will return this week from his mission in San Antonio, TX. He will report his mission on Sunday. Hobart Feltner took LaVera Moss to Cedar City to keep a medical appointment and while they were there he learned that he had just become the greatgrandfather great-grandfather of a beautiful baby girl, born to Thad and Rame Feltner of Hurricane. He now has more than 30 great-grandchildren and Glenda Feltner is their great-grandmother. On Apr. 27 Gayle Moore and Mel and Phyllis Beard attended a Boy Scout training in Orem. Kyla Clark and son, Stetson, spent the weekend with her parents, par-ents, Steve and VerJean Clark. Emilee Clark's father, Gary Liston flew up to the airport to pick her up and take her to St. Johns, AZ to spend a week with her family there. The Morreale-Moss family enjoyed a wonderful weekend welcoming their son and brother home from Texas. He gave a very good LDS mission report and a beautiful song, "Lead, Kindly Light," was rendered by family and extended family members. President Klyn Chynoweth represented the Stake Presidency. Christina and Tamra Moss and Tamra's fiance, Brandon Neily, came. We also saw Nine Willden, LaDonna Christensen, Danny Fletcher, his wife, Lanae Fletcher and their family; Pauline Hansen and family, and many friends from the neighboring towns came. A lovely dinner was served at the Ward Cultural Hall afterward. Larry and Glenna Fletcher had family members, Leon and Delon and daughter, Gail Fletcher who brought a friend, Kris Young. Erica Racker went to Provo where she joined her cousins, Diane and Gail Fletcher for a one week trip to British Columbia, Canada. They spent , their time in Summerland and Penticton where they visited many of the people Gail knew while serving a mission there. They also enjoyed the beach at Okanagan Lake. Lace and Mathew Walker, Cheri Moss, Robby McCormick and Raphael Morreale attended Upward Bound On Campus. A banquet was held with guest speaker Black Hawk Walters. He and his brother, Red Hawk were both kick boxing champions champi-ons and they gave motivating speeches. Arjean Twitchell and daughter, daugh-ter, Cherlyn went to Salt Lake City to see the Jazz game. It was sad that they were defeated. Vaughn and Mae Twitchell went to St. George to the eye 1 doctor. George and Teresa Thompson and family made a ' trip to Salt Lake City to get fencing material. j Marva Fletcher was once , again visited by "Work Angels" j who came and cut down trees, i pruned and shaped others, raked j and even grubbed up some sagebrush sage-brush that were about to take over her garden spot. She is very grateful to the leaders and Young Men and Young Women groups. Also to good neighbor, Vaughn Twitchell, who has been watering her lawn. Thanks to j each and every one for your ; sweet spirit and your willing- ness to help others. |
