When I was a young girl, I can remember my Mother telling me that when I got older the years would pass more quickly. Of course, I thought that was a silly thing to say because years don't get any shorter. I didn't think they did, but guess what, now I am older and the years DO pass more quickly. It seems like just yesterday yes-terday I was yelling and hitting pans on my front porch and wishing everyone a Happy New j Year. Now it is time to say Happy Thanksgiving already. Well if we must have the cold and snow let's hope it is a good '. winter for the moisture. We ' surely need it. '. I am still waiting for your phone call or e-mail so I can tell ; your news. Kris Feltner, '. Tim's wife, is Helma's grand- '. daughter. They went to Ogden I and visited the Air Force Museum at Hill Air Force Base ; where they got to see up close, a B-17 just like the one that Louis Haas flew in during WWII. He was a tail-gunner. The late Louis " Haas was husband to Helma. '. Then they all went to dinner at I the Olive Garden in Layton and I enjoyed each other's company ; ; before returning home again.
