The Gary Johnsons had their college students home for the weekend. Heath Piatt was a recent visitor visi-tor at Ken and Artoise Platts. Taryn was also home from Dixie. Visitors at Doyle and Kathryn Neilsens to help with winterizing chores were son Steven and children chil-dren of Layton and daughter Kathy Murphy, Clearfield. Graveside services were held on Friday for Mada Partner. Her daughters Cora, Violate and Beth and their families were here. Also here were: Annette Nordgreen and husband, Mesa, Ariz.; Marie Millet and husband, St. George (they are daughters of, Robb and Meda Midleton); Janet LeFevre, Vernal; Burdell and Carma Barton, Tropic; Glade and Alta Willis, Mesa, and their families; fami-lies; and many other local families fami-lies and friends. Our sympathy to the family. Mada will surely be missed. Clinton and Klay Chynoweth placed fourth out of 90 contestants contest-ants in team roping during the High School Rodeo held in Salina. Shelby Chynoweth qualified quali-fied for state in pole riding. She placed 13th out of 178. In the barrels, bar-rels, she placed 21 out of 206. Congratulations! |
