Those attending from Panguitch Pan-guitch came with their cars covered with snow. Circleville residents had snow, also. They listened to a very good talk given by our Stake President Presi-dent Shannon Allen and refreshments refresh-ments were served in the Cultural Hall afterwards. Our LDS Stake Conference will be held in Panguitch Pan-guitch on April 18-19. Stake Temple Night will be on April 17. Everyone is to meet in the St. George Temple chapel at 5:30 p.m. Eugene and Valeria King traveled trav-eled to Orem on Sunday to see their son-in-law, Karl Weenig, put in as the new bishop of his ward. Karl teaches school in Orem. His wife is former Polly King. Summer friends are starting to drift in at the Antimony Merc and Trailer Park. Ed and Sharlene Jensen Jen-sen and Ken Morse were here. Also, the cowboys, Wayne Copeland and Dox Manwell, were here for a few days. April and Ricky Bools were here at Marian Von Kaenell's for a few days from Las Vegas, Nev. Clarence Twitchell is doing very well since his heart surgery and is out walking every day. The new directory for the Antimony Anti-mony Cemetery is nearly built. Chace Brindley is building it with instructions from his uncle, Bill Wiley, as Bill still has a cast on his hand and can't work. Remember, the Family Survival and 40 Assets For Kids program will be presented at the Panguitch Stake Center on April 23, at 7 p.m. This is for all teens, parents and adults. This outstanding meeting is presented by the LDS Panguitch Stake, Public Affairs, Panguitch City, Intermountain Health Care and Panguitch Lions Club. ' Roma and Raymond Henrie spent the LDS General Conference weekend here with her parents, the Van Wileys and family. Delsie Montague is working in Wayne County at the Youth Correctional Cor-rectional Facility with Beverly Hansen. Corlas Montague had back surgery in Salt Lake City and says he is free from pain now. Gayle Ipson is spending a week here with her father, Neil Ipson during spring break. Winston and Dorothy Stratton came from Hurricane one day this week just to check on their house and property at Little Meadow Estates. Es-tates. Pat White and daughter, Lind-sey, Lind-sey, brought a load of furniture from Colorado, which had been her grandfathers. |
