Dixie Shakespear enjoyed her day as son Ed and his wife Camille Shakespear chauffeured her to St. George to attend an LDS temple session. While there, she visited with a variety of long time friends. Max and Phyllis Stewart entertained enter-tained visitors. Their son Chance and his friend, Jessica Blake and a friend of hers, Kami, all from college col-lege in Cedar City, and Phyllis' sister, Jeri Clarke, of Elko, Nev. visited over the weekend. Royal and Rella Alvey enjoyed a day's visit with their "on the road" son, Kim Alvey, and his children, from Richfield. Two's com- pany, three is... the musketeers! Ronnie Brinkerhoff traveled with cousin, Darnell Shirley to Salt Lake City where both had doctor appointments. They hurried back home, glad to get out of the 1-15 construction mess. A storm followed fol-lowed them back and it seems as if is has been snowing and raining ever since! Amber Simons, Las Vegas, Nev., spent a week in Tropic visiting visit-ing with her parents, Raymond and Ronnie Brinkherhoff. She came to check out the latest arrival in the family, a baby girl born to Sherel and Derrick Clark of Cannonville. Amber and Ronnie spent hours visiting and toll painting fun wood items for the gift shop. Also, the family got together for cake and ice cream to celebrate the Clark's son, Shandon's, first birthday. Connie Douglas, Phyllis Stewart, Kathryn Pollock, and Gay Shakespeare attended the Early Childhood Intervention and Pre-School Pre-School Conference in Salt Lake . City for three days. The Junior Jazz boys and girls basketball teams were escorted by parents and friends to Salt Lake City to watch the Jazz NBA basketball bas-ketball team play the Denver Nuggets. Nug-gets. There is a lot of excitement in the Delta Center when sur-! sur-! rounded by many Jazz fans. ! Arthur and Vicki Syrett returned from Salt Lake City and we hope ! Arthur continues to heal from his j ailments. |
